Google has partnered with more than 50 retailers (Including Flipkart and snapdeal) to plan for an online shopping bonanza called “The Great Online Shopping Festival“. It is the Indian equivalent of Cybermonday. It will be launched on 12/12/12 – a Wednesday!
India has ~140 mn Internet users and companies like Amazon and Google are hoping that it will provide a lucrative market going forward.
