Richard’s blog, I am introducing a new series – BlogBazaar Sampling – where I will bring to the readers some interesting links from my RSS feeds that form my blog bazaar!  Here are some interesting links for today:

GigaOm reports that Thunderbird – the email client from Mozilla is being spun out as a separate company. "It will receive $3 million in seed funding from the Mozilla Corp. David Ascher, currently CTO and VP Engineering of ActiveState will run the new venture. The new company will be a wholly owned subsidiary of Mozilla Corp."

Human freedoms are under threat.  Malaysia – arguably the most "progressive" Islamic state in the world – is threatening to enforce Ramadan rules on everyone.  So non-Muslims cannot eat!  Meanwhile in the US, cities are policing how people wear their pants!  No "saggy" pants showing boxers, please. Arguably the most advanced country on the planet and – as the Americans tend to believe of themselves – "free" country.. is now policing sartorial fashion!

ConfusedofCalcutta is musing on what is private and what is public after the advent of social networks!
