This is not a usual song.  It has some Farsi (Persian) woven in, which makes the song very interesting.  I had seen this movie as a kid.. and loved the music.  This is quintessential OP Nayyar.  The ethereal feel of this song made me listen to it so many times.  I was holed up in a small village during my Masters and I had no other source of entertainment.  Songs from this movie were the most heard songs on my small cassette player.

Also, not many people realize that the best duets that Rafi has sung are with Asha than with Lata!  In fact someone said once to me that they probably made the best male-female pair in the history of Indian bollywood music.  After listening to their songs I totally agree with him.
