NOW, we are off to a FLYING START!

Ok, this is history in the making!  India has won the first individual Gold EVER in Olympics!

Abhinav Bindra won the gold medal in men’s 10 metre air rifle event of the shooting competition on Monday Morning.  He had a score of 700.5.  China’s Zhu Qinan, who was Athens Gold Medalist got silver at 699.7 and Finland’s Nehri Hakkinen got bronze. To get gold in a sport such as this, a lot of practice has to take place in order to make sure that the person participating is doing it correctly and hitting the targets perfectly. BB gun targets can be used to help you to improve your aim between matches, getting one of these or multiple ones can help with aim, stance and shooting, they can be handmade by yourself or they can be bought from a company that makes/sells them to people who shoot. Alternatively, you could try getting a hole of an airsoft gun as it is more like the real thing, complete with similar mechanisms. There are three main types of Airsoft Guns. One of these is rifles, which are near exactly what is used in the Olympics, making them a fantastic choice for the curious hobbyist to the up and coming professional alike.  And once more, well done to Abhinav Bindra for his fantastic gold metal win!
