Michio Kaku, Theoretical Physicist, Has Mathematical Proof of God as Universal Intelligence

Does God exist?  This is a question that has troubled many and has been answered in many ways.

In India specifically, the route chosen was experiential.  No apriori assumption was made by seekers and at the end, when the universality was experienced – profound, immense, overwhelming and beyond articulation – Sages called it Divine.  From those experiences came higher states of intelligence and work, where spaces, objects and energies were modified to deliver across time and space.

Two paradigms of the search for God stand out: Sage Yajnavalka’s Neti-Neti and Krishna’s “I am All”.  The former rejected everything that was observable as non-God, because God was the Observer.  So reject and trash everything observable until one comes to a constant “hummm” and then discount that to come to Nothingness.  Krishna went the other route.  He looked at discrete things and likened himself to them (Vices, Virtues, Mountains, Sounds, Music, etc) and then as if to use them to define the infinite space declared “I am All”.  One went to Zero so the “rest” was Infinity; and the other went to Infinity so the “rest” was Zero. Both the same places really.

The understanding was that at that point where Nothingness and Infinity “met”, God happened.  It was a infinitesimal potential energy and the infinite kinetic energy rolled into one.  An intelligence far beyond comprehension.

The Abrahamic belief systems, however, created stories and beliefs in those stories to answer the question that was tough to seek an answer to.  So stories became the surrogate for ruthless honesty of either deconstruction oneself or enlarging oneself to include every atom in cosmos.

Western Science which was a reaction to Abrahamic God, started with the assumption that there is no God.  Now what?

Even when the Eastern God could easily be merged with the Western Scientific concept of Unity of Everything, it was resisted.  For Western Science was cursed by the shadow of a God that was the outcrop of the stories.  Sadly, in absence of personal experience, even the Eastern mytical God seemed no better than a story, although a complex and profound one.

A theoretical physicist, Michio Kaku has come out with an interesting take.  He says God exists, albeit as Divine or primordial intelligence.

“I have concluded that we are in a world made by rules created by an intelligence”, he affirmed. “Believe me, everything that we call chance today won’t make sense anymore.”
“To me it is clear that we exists in a plan which is governed by rules that were created, shaped by a universal intelligence and not by chance.”

Randomness as the basis of perfect order was unpalatable to laypeople but the staple of the atheistic scientists, who were running from the storied God of the West.  Any insinuation of any intelligence or order or “rules” in this seemingly random stuff that fits perfectly was being taken as a death blow by the science world of late.

Kaku seems to have thrown a wrench into the whole scheme of things. And what he says is interesting and profound.

God is.  It (not he!) is universal intelligence.  Obviously has no son or any message to give.  For it IS everything that constitutes the message, messenger and the taught.. as well as the medium.
