Today in the morning, I got a reminder of how bad the economy is when I got the message that I was no longer with my company. It is just one of those things about which you cannot do a whole lot – just that the time is bad. Finding another job would not be easy and most companies are not even offering jobs. But for me it was a strange feeling of “rejection” as well as of “freedom”! This is the first time this happened with me but it gave me the feeling that now, I could reinvent myself! There are so many facets to my personality and not all of them have come out properly.. so what better time?
There is however this feeling of going for the “known” and secure confines of a job but then there is this feeling and knowledge that there is no such thing as a “secure job”. But then where should I go to? Next week will mean a lot of that introspection and thinking.
