Two journalists held for extortion

Ural police have arrested two rural journalists of Vyala village for extortion. The two journalists of a local vernacular daily have been booked under section 384 read with 34 of Indian Penal Code (IPC) and were caught red handed taking Rs 2,000 from truck owner Brijlal Sharma, whose vehicle was carrying Babhli wood without required permission of the forest department.

Cash of Rs 2,000, two mobile handsets and a two-wheeler were seized from the duo.
