Villagers build railway station without Govt support

After the project was discarded by the government for 25 years, residents of Tajnagar village near Gurgaon built a railway station in the village on their own by spending Rs.21 lakh. On January 5, 2010, the station started its operations with seven local trains being scheduled to stop.
