What is Awareness

This quote is really interesting…. in that the "awareness" of a thing – as in distinct from you – is not the real awareness that the enlightened talk about.  Awareness without conflict is what takes you beyond.

The awareness of the fool is always limited
By thinking, or by trying not to think.

The awareness of the man who lives within,
Though he may be busy thinking,
Is beyond even awareness itself.
