NIA arrests 14 jehadis trying to set up new terror group in Tamil Nadu

National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested 14 people who were in the process of setting up a terror outfit called ‘Asnarulla’ in Tamil Nadu.  They were deported from Saudi Arabia.  The group has been collecting money for their terror activities.

The NIA had already arrested Hassan Ali and Harish Mohammed on Saturday.  The NIA seized nine mobile phones, 15 SIM cards, 7 memory cards, 3 laptops, 5 hard discs, 6 pen drives, 2 tablets and 3 CDs/ DVDs apart from a lot of documents, banners etc.

They have been charged with criminal conspiracy, waging or attempting to wage war against India and other terror charges.
