Congress MLA, Divya Maderna, insults sarpanch Chandu Devi and forces her to sit on the floor!

In a bizarre incident but very demonstrative of the Congress ethos and culture, Congress MLA from Osian in Jodhpur Divya Maderna asked the Khetasar sarpanch Chandu Devi to sit on the floor with the audience when she went to sit beside her on the dais.

But why did she do it?

‘She won on a BJP ticket’ – said the regressive and domineering bully Divya Maderna.

The fact is that she had no business to be telling another elected official to sit on the floor and act like some sick

Chandu Devi’s husband Rooparam explained that she had gone to sit on the dias because that is what the people had wanted her to be.

“Chandu initially sat on the floor but then people said she should sit next to the MLA, since she is a sarpanch. So, she then went to sit with the MLA. But the MLA gestured her to go, so she left her chair and sat among the people for the rest of the sabha.”

And when the Congress MLA insulted her and made her to go sit on the floor, Chandu Devi did without any protest because of how simple she is, reiterated Rooparam.

But the state president of the sarpanch sangh, Bhanwarlal Janu, did not take it lying down and wants Maderna to apologize to which she retorted that Chandu Devi had won on BJP ticket.

And Divya Maderna has a rather controversial family.  She is the daughter of Mahipal Maderna, who murdered nurse Bhanwari Devi and has been in jail since 2012.  And the crazy thing is that he once fancied himself to be a  chief ministerial hopeful!
