—————-

Silently the soul lifts off
Slithering away in the darkness
To find another haven
Another mother,another father

And when it spies upon its parents
it silently slithers in between
unheard, unwelcomed,unseen
propelling a whole new scene

A baby is born again today
and millions like it are born everyday
infinite are the numbers of souls
transmigrating from world to world everyday

All they ever really seek
Is the comfort of a womb
Even that is shattered
By a surgeon’s steel scalpel

And cries of a newborn baby
fill the home of barren parents
who always prayed for a child
to make their own clone

The soul has to accept it
irrespective of anything
this is one moment in time
where choice has no rhyme

surrendering to itself within
the soul lies still
accepting graceful smiles
silently yet watchfully

As it learns to trust
Its iron cot’s legs rust
its diapers grow smaller
It begins to grow taller

Reaching for the skies
beholding truth in its eyes
till some crazy relative
corrupts its relatively

Then u have personalities
Which make up most of us
idiosyncracies galore
and life becomes a bore.
