That is why even in the case of aliens and their presence, Western minds have been searching for physical beings and their vehicles.
Often such occurrences have happened and the encounters recorded. In most cases, the governments and scientists have kept mum.
Now, there is enough push for the facts to come out.
The Indian spiritual traditions, on the other hand, never looked at life as a physical phenomenon only. Also, and more profoundly, it was an energy phenomenon. That is why, the Yogis, our scientists, looked at the whole thing in a completely different way.
Let us look at all that.

Aliens and their UFOs have been a topic of great speculation and interest ever since 1947. Although the interest and possible interactions with the aliens goes back to ancient times.
Since June 24, 1947, the day American pilot Kenneth Arnold reported seeing nine unidentified flying objects in the sky, UFO sightings have become a staple of science fiction plots, government cover-up theories, scientific inquiry, and popular culture. Eight days after Arnold's sighting, 'flying saucers' captured national attention with the alleged crash of an extraterrestrial spacecraft in Roswell, New Mexico, a town that has since built a tourism industry on its claim to fame as a UFO hotspot. In fact, there is a “vault” of documents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) that includes reports from FBI on the sightings between 1947 and 1954.
In 1947, a rash of sightings of unexplained flying objects (UFOs) swept America. Although the newly formed U.S. Air Force was the primary investigator of these sightings, the FBI received many reports and worked for a time with the Air Force to investigate these matters. This release details the FBI’s role in investigating such reports between 1947 and 1954. (Source)
But all these things have been a matter of speculation. And conspiracy theories.
Until now.
In 2018, however, Professor Avi Loeb a respected astrophysicist, former chair of Harvard's Astronomy Department, shared his thoughts about a possible brush that we humans may have had with an alien presence. He was talking about a rock from another star that had entered our solar system.
For the first time ever, an asteroid or comet from another star has been caught hurtling through our solar system, astronomers announced late Thursday. Provisionally designated A/2017 U1, the object appears to be less than a half-kilometer in diameter and is traveling at just over 40 kilometers per second—faster than humanity’s speediest outbound space probes. Because this is the first object of its type to be found, there are as yet no official rules for naming it, and its discoverers have balked at suggesting anything besides “Interstellar.” Whatever one might call it, though, it is presently racing away from the sun and has sparked a stampede of astronomers rushing to observe it before it fades entirely from view in the darkness of interstellar space. Given its characteristics, Professor Loeb was convinced that Oumuamua was an artifact of the extra-terrestrial “intelligence”.
In late 2018 Loeb and his co-author Shmuel Bialy, a Harvard postdoctoral fellow, published a paper in the Astrophysical Journal Letters arguing that ‘Oumuamua had been nothing less than humanity’s first contact with an artifact of extraterrestrial intelligence. (Source)
That opened the gates if you will.
In one “60 Minutes”, arguably the benchmark of investigative journalism on TV in the US, there was an unusual topic and program.
On UFOs. Or rather, as the US government puts it - Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon (UAP)
Even the Ex-US President Barack Obama, known to be a serious guy, said something very interesting in “The Late Show” earlier this week.
"What is true, and I'm actually being serious here, is that there are, there's footage and records of objects in the skies, that we don't know exactly what they are. We can't explain how they moved, their trajectory. They did not have an easily explainable pattern. And so, you know, I think that people still take seriously trying to investigate and figure out what that is." (Source)
IN this conversation Chris Cuomo of CNN talks to Sean Cahil, retired US Navy Chief Master-at-Arms, and Christopher Mellon, former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence about a report that is being sought by the government.
This all started in 2017, with Christopher Mellon, the deputy assistant secretary of defense for intelligence under President Bill Clinton and President George W. Bush, who shared three declassified Navy UFO videos to the New York Times, the CBS “60 Minutes”. The NYT published a story that went viral (Source) The story was about this government initiative called the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), a Pentagon project that investigates alien/UFO sightings.
Mellon called it a “national security issue” to get it on the radar of everyone. So Mellon, Senator Marco Rubio and former AATIP official Luis Elizondo pushed it further.
In December, Rubio asked the Pentagon and the U.S. director of national intelligence to investigate the UAP issue and deliver an unclassified report to Congress within six months. (Rubio led the Senate's intelligence committee at the time. Democrats took control of the Senate after the last election, so the committee is now chaired by Virginia Democrat Mark Warner; Rubio serves as vice chair.) That six-month stretch is almost up. The report is due next month, and Rubio seems eager to see it. (Source)
It seems that there was money that had been allocated to this program but embedded so deep that no one could even find it!
In the $600 billion annual Defense Department budgets, the $22 million spent on the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program was almost impossible to find. Which was how the Pentagon wanted it. For years, the program investigated reports of unidentified flying objects, according to Defense Department officials, interviews with program participants and records obtained by The New York Times. It was run by a military intelligence official, Luis Elizondo, on the fifth floor of the Pentagon’s C Ring, deep within the building’s maze. (Source)
The journalists have since then worked to get more information and give this entire phenomenon some “credibility” that was lacking for a long time.

The critics of this phenomenon - the UFOs and Aliens have been there for a long time. Carl Sagan, for example, suggested that the stories of the alien abductions seem to be peculiar to only the American culture.
And he may be right to some extent. This obsession with aliens seems to be a particularly popular American fad.
Nearly half of all Americans and millions more globally believe we're not alone, according to a 2000 ABC poll. While 40 million Americans say they have seen or know someone who has seen an unidentified flying object, or UFO, a growing number believe they've actually met aliens. (Source)
That is why Carl Sagan had dismissed the whole thing as a fraud.
Here are some of the most popular sightings that have been reported in the US.
Many people, like Steven M. Greer, emergency-room physician in Virginia and a UFO-logist (yes, that is a thing!) have been asking the government to come out with the facts on UFOs and Aliens for a long time.
Over several decades, according to Greer, untold numbers of alien craft had been observed in our planet’s airspace; they were able to reach extreme velocities with no visible means of lift or propulsion, and to perform stunning maneuvers at g-forces that would turn a human pilot to soup. Some of these extraterrestrial spaceships had been “downed, retrieved and studied since at least the 1940s and possibly as early as the 1930s.” Efforts to reverse engineer such extraordinary machines had led to “significant technological breakthroughs in energy generation.” These operations had mostly been classified as “cosmic top secret,” a tier of clearance “thirty-eight levels” above that typically granted to the Commander-in-Chief. Why, Greer asked, had such transformative technologies been hidden for so long? This was obvious. The “social, economic and geo-political order of the world” was at stake. (Source)
Alien encounters were kept secret and part of conspiracy theorists’ staple diet. No credible academician or scientist was willing to touch this topic.
Until recently.
The tide is surely changing as the government functionaries are now openly talking about this phenomenon and even the work that the government is doing in this area.
However, this is the Western experience of alien beings.
Then there is the whole story of what we see on the planet that does not align with the fictional history that has been presented to us.
The human civilization of the past has left remarkable artifacts - whether it is the pyramids or the Kailash temple at Ellora, which would require mindboggling superhuman action - specifically given that time - if not an alien effort to accomplish.
But the contributions of some greater civilization on this planet exist in many different areas.
For example, there was an Ottoman admiral and cartographer Piri Reis. He is supposed to have compiled a map in 1513. Approximately only a third of his map survives. Piri said that he used ten Arab sources and four Indian maps sourced from the Portuguese to create his map.
In 1960, Professor Charles Hapgood, of Keene College submitted the Piri Reis map to the US Air Force for their investigation and comments. This is the letter he received from them. (Source)
A year later the US Air force office sent another letter. Which was even more interesting.
What they were saying was - the features on Antarctica shown on the Oronteus Finaeus map were identical to the ones that have been found via the seismic profile of the continent done by the Norwegian-British-Swedish expedition. So the United States Air Force office suggested that the Oronteus Finaeus map that was presented to them could only have been created when Antarctica was relatively free of ice.
When was that continent last “free of ice”?
Scientists from Amgueddfa Cymru - National Museum Wales and Cardiff University have found new evidence of past climate change, which helps solve some of the mystery surrounding the appearance of the vast ice-sheet in Antarctica 34 million years ago. Antarctica hasn't always been covered with ice - the continent lay over the south pole without freezing over for almost 100 million years. Then, about 34 million years ago, a dramatic shift in climate happened at the boundary between the Eocene and Oligocene epochs. The warm greenhouse climate, stable since the extinction of the dinosaurs, became dramatically colder, creating an "ice-house" at the poles that has continued to the present day. (Source)
Back then in history, did another civilization exist?
The Yogic and Eastern experience is very different. In the Indian understanding of aliens, they have not been known as beings in physical form, but in energy form. In that state, they conduct every interaction in a very different way.
The writer has been to Kailash and Mansarovar and stayed there in presence of Sadhguru. What you see in the video is the kind of experience that one has when one is with him. What the world sees of Sadhguru is one thing. What happens in Kailash and Mansarovar is at another level. The “presence” of the alien or a different energy is very difficult to miss.
For example, the water at Mansarovar was - like Sadhguru describes - close to zero. We were instructed to not stay over 5-10 minutes lest hypothermia may set in. There were a group of middle-aged ladies who were with us. They ventured way further - probably 50 feet inside the lake and stayed in there for at least 20 minutes. When I asked them how could they stay so long? Their response was “the water was remarkably warm.” I was barely 20 feet away in the freezing water.

Singapore corrects Kejriwal Fake News: Singapore’s Ministry of Health was forced to issue a correction guideline under the Protection from Online Falsehoods and Misinformation Act (an act to tackle fake news online) after Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal went all out to broadcast his claim of the ‘Singapore variant’. Taking cognizance of the false statement being circulated online soon after Kejriwal’s claim, Singapore’s Health Ministry issued correction guidelines to Facebook and Twitter and SPH Magazines Ltd. The social media platforms Facebook, Twitter and HardwareZone.com have been instructed to carry the Correction Notice for all the end-users of these platforms in Singapore. (Source)
How Gates Targeted Women: MICROSOFT'S "toxic culture" flowed from the top after Bill Gates "picked out women to fulfill himself," an ex-employee has claimed. Katherine Moussouris, who worked as a computer researcher with Microsoft from 2007 to 2014, alleges Gates "targeted women." “It felt like this culture flowed from the top and it was a culture of paying lip service to diversity and inclusion and not really supporting women in sexual assault claims or their career progression.” Other female staffers said they were "groped and spanked,” a new report claims, as founder Bill Gates's own alleged affair with an employee is revealed. Four-Legged Fish: A new population of 420-million-year-old fish with 'four legs' that was thought to be extinct has been found off the coast of Madagascar. Several shark hunters stumbled upon a previously unknown population of coelacanths, a 420-million-year-old 'fossil fish' that was once thought to be extinct. The discovery was made in the southwestern part of Madagascar in the Indian Ocean. The remarkable find, first outlined by Mongabay News, stems from the result that the shark hunters were using gillnets looking for the sharks, only to turn up the ancient fish. (Source)
