“Hope
Smiles from the threshold of the year to come,
Whispering 'it will be happier'...” ― Alfred Lord Tennyson

The problem with morals is that you start with a template and force it on every situation, irrespective of whether it needs it or not.  For example, telling the truth is a “moral” for you and as you are coming out from a hall full of kids, a mad-man with a gun asks you “Is there anyone inside?”  Do you follow your morality?  Or do you become “immoral?”

Morality is an absurd way to live.  It is a foolish way of life, devoid of any ability to deal with situations as those situations demand.

That in itself is bad enough.

What if you get the very definition of a moral stance all wrong?

What if your understanding of a moral principle is absurd and bastardized to begin with?

Then you have an amazing distinction of being enough of a fool to use a rotten circle of morality on the square world which requires fresh thinking and evaluation every moment!

And, that is the biggest problem with all today’s so-called liberals.  They have not even understood the things that are at the base of their own principles.  When they are schooled by those who laid those principles out in the first place, they cry foul.

For, in their eyes now, the bastardized and stinking corpses of their principles are the only way to look at the world.  Not realizing that they have become a caricature unto their own ideal, that they so gleefully strut around promoting!

master takes wannabe to task

Emmanuel Macron, the poster boy of the liberal European ethos, called up Ben Smith at New York Times to give him a lesson in liberalism sans foot-in-the-mouth-Islamist-liberal affliction that is so symptomatic of American left today.  Ditto is the situation of the ‘poor mans’ leftist apes who are just lazy to do any original thinking and are perfectly happy to copy-paste what is written in the West for the Indian context.  Same narratives forced on Indian scenarios, whether they fit or not, with the same lingo devoid of facts.  And just as apes scratch each other’s backs, these Indian leftist apes keep doing it for each other and feeling great.

So Macron explained the real meaning of liberalism to this guy Ben Smith.

“When France was attacked five years ago, every nation in the world supported us. So when I see, in that context, several newspapers which I believe are from countries that share our values — journalists who write in a country that is the heir to the Enlightenment and the French Revolution — when I see them legitimizing this violence, and saying that the heart of the problem is that France is racist and Islamophobic, then I say the founding principles have been lost.”(Source)

No one could have put it better.

Americans and the West owes its ‘liberalism’, if that is what you want to call the imperialist/universalist ways of imposing laws that have favored them everywhere, to the French.  Those who learned at the feet of the French liberal masters are trying to bark at them for, err, not following the twisted Islamized version of ‘liberalism’, which is anything but!

You see, Macron politely told Smith that American liberals need to get a reality check.

Terror is not the same as free speech.

And, secularism is not hoisting Islamist supremacism to bring down Christian/White Supremacism.  You cannot have supremacist favorites!

Now, let us understand one thing here - Supremacism inherently includes the understanding that the ideology that is seeking dominance is exclusivist - “I am right, and you need to die.”  So, while this is true of the Christian creed (Christian god is the only true god) and Islamist theology (Allah is the only true god); this is not true of Eastern ways and faiths.

fanaticism, supremacism and exclusivism - can a Hindu be supremacist?

A fanatic Hindu, if you encounter one, will at his worst, force you to believe that all gods are the same.  That is not a supremacist.

That is akin to a fanatic democrat fighting a fanatic fascist into making him believe that everyone has equal rights!  A fanatic Hindu, therefore, at his worst will be arguing for equality of faiths in every which way.

His belief in his own god is not complete without paving the way for other gods.

He is fighting exclusivism, not the gods of Islamist and Christian supremacists!

Extract from Catherine Nixey’s “The Darkening Age” - about the difference between Greek “pagans” and Christians. While to “pagans”, Christian God was just “another god”. To Christians, “pagan god” was Satan. For “Pagans” it was about their god and Christian god. For Christians, it was about their god and “Pagan Satan”. This is true of every Dharma versus Abrahamic religions contest.

They - Islamist and Christian Supremacists - on the other hand, are fighting others’ gods, exclusivism is not even a question, it is an apriori assumption.

Any fanaticism is NOT supremacy.  A fanaticism for the victory of an exclusivist creed is the basis of supremacism.

If you closely read the arguments of Emmanuel Macron then you will find that he is also dealing with the exact same dilemma!  How does he - an ‘enlightened liberal’ who values a universalist view of the world where everyone has equal rights, fight an exclusivist creed so that it does not destroy the basis of liberalism - i.e; inclusivism?

That is the fight really!

American ‘liberals’ and their “shiny object” argumentation

Now, Ben Smith is taken aback by the charge of “legitimizing violence” from Macron.

He - in a very Pavlovian reaction - looks at it from the “Trumpian” lens.

Legitimizing violence — that’s as serious a charge as you can make against the media, and the sort of thing we’ve been more used to hearing, and shrugging off, from the American president. And Americans, understandably distracted by the hallucinatory final days of the Trump presidency, may have missed the intensifying conflict between the French elite and the English-language media.(Source)

And, this is the problem with most of the American - and aping Indian - leftist discourse.  They have these boxes.. these shiny objects that they showcase to make their arguments in broad-brushed approaches.  There is no nuance, no need to look at things with some sense of involvement.  Just throw “Trump” or “Hitler” or some other shiny object and that is all to their argument.

What Trump has done has many facets.  He has scuttled the utterly nonsensical imperialist diplomatic corp addicted to war orgies and instead talked directly to those who were inflicting pain and creating wars everywhere to get rich off of the soldiers corpses.

He has called out the Islamists and the Chinese for their perfidious behavior.

That was needed.

He may have fought over the size of crowds and tweeted at insane hours, acted like a kid, etc but he asked questions that no one was asking amongst the elite leadership.  Questions that the masses were hitherto shouting from their rooftops, but no one cared to even listen.  He did.

He was many things, not just one who sided with the Charlottesville supremacists.  Just as Biden is a lot of things, one assumes, not just one who has sided with the Islamist supremacists.

And, that is something that we need to clearly identify.  Something that this clueless NYT writer just cannot get.

Mr. Macron didn’t initially campaign on changing the country’s approach to its Muslim minority, but in a major speech in early October denouncing “Islamist separatism,” he promised action against everything from the foreign training of imams to “imposing menus that accommodate religious restrictions in cafeterias.” He also called for remaking the religion itself into “an Islam of the Enlightenment.” His tough-talking interior minister, meanwhile, is using the inflammatory language of the far right.

Calling out the primitive regressive ways of the Islamists IS the sine qua non of liberalism.  It is NOT ‘far-right’!

To even call speaking the truth about Islamism as being far-right is to create a situation where you are simply in the game of promoting your favorite supremacist, not one who fights supremacism!

If you are “left” or “right”, you aren’t against supremacism.  You are just against the supremacism that doesn’t line your pockets!

For isn’t it clear to any discerning sane individual that while Western ‘right’ is sympathetic to White/Christian supremacism; the Western ‘left’ is in bed with the Islamic supremacism?

So, with what moral compass can the left even have the gall to pontificate?

In their enthusiasm to safeguard the Islamist terrorist supremacism, the left is not shy to even ‘blame the victim’!

And then, of course, there are the tweets. The Associated Press deleted a tweet that asked why France “incites” anger in the Muslim world, saying it was a poor word choice for an article explaining anger at France in the Muslim world. The New York Times was roasted on Twitter and in the pages of Le Monde for a headline — which appeared briefly amid the chaos of the beheading — “French Police Shoot and Kill Man After a Fatal Knife Attack on the Street.” The Times headline quickly changed as French police confirmed details, but the screenshot remained. “It’s as though we were in the smoking ruins of ground zero and they said we had it coming,”Mr. Macron’s spokeswoman, Anne-Sophie Bradelle, complained to Le Monde.(Source)

Until the end, Ben Smith, cannot come out of his fetish for the “shiny object analysis syndrome.”

I asked him whether his vocal complaints about the American media weren’t themselves a little Trumpian — advancing his agenda through high-profile attacks on the press.

A sentiment so reminiscent of Vatican’s way of dealing with dissent, Little Kim’s way of handling criticism, and Hitler’s anger at being questioned.

Just that those people had the power to kill.  Smith doesn’t.  Yet.

Gays be damned when Muslims kill them - liberal credo

Here is another example of the same hypocrisy, where Khairi Saadallah, a 25-year-old Libyan refugee stabbed and killed three people in Reading, England.

Many outlets mentioned the killing and its details.

Do you know what no media outlet mentioned?

That all three men were gays.

How could the so-called liberal left media underplay a religious attack by a Muslim on gays - that he had specifically picked out - obviously because of his religious ideology?

Here is Harbir Nain speaking about it.

That is why when the LGBTQ community backs the neo-clueless-leftist-liberals, one can merely laugh at them and pity their stupidity.

Britain’s secret wealth of plunders

Indians have known it for long.  The greatest USP of Britain in terms of wealth generation is plunder and loot.  They looted $45 Trillion (in today’s terms) from just India alone.  If you add the loot from other countries and continents (Africa specifically), the plunder that sustained the British Empire ran in many hundreds of trillions.

With the changing world, all that was gone.  But not habits.  After that, the gorging from plunder was kept on.  Just that now, the Brits did not do it themselves.  They provided safe havens to those they helped plunder.  While making money from the dirty and illegal money parked in their jurisdictions, they were also charging a fee from those unscrupulous villains of other countries who were doing their bidding.

Michael Oswald's film The Spider's Web reveals how at the demise of the empire, the City of London's financial interests created a web of secrecy jurisdictions that captured wealth from across the globe and hid it in a web of offshore islands. Today, up to half of the global offshore wealth is hidden in British jurisdictions and Britain and its dependencies are the largest global players in the world of international finance.
