The commentators have deliberately omitted the role of the states in this whole issue. They have blamed the Center without ever discussing the disparity in the trains that went to UP, Bihar and to West Bengal or Maharashtra.
These states have used the misery of their citizens to score political brownie points and yet have the gall to come out and cry foul with a straight face!
Unfortunately, there hasn’t been an effective communication strategy from the Modi government to counter its critics.
