Taste 9000 year old Beer Recipe soon

A 9000 year old beer recipe is now going to be available to the world.

Called Chateau Jiahu, this blend of rice, honey and fruit was intoxicating Chinese villagers 9,000 years ago—long before grape wine had its start in Mesopotamia.

University of Pennsylvania molecular archaeologist Patrick McGovern had talked about the recipe in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences after he studied pottery from Jiahu in Northern China.

Dogfish Brewery is going to make the beer based on the 9000 year old recipe.
