While China and some other countries advanced rapidly and decisively, they focused on one dimension at a time while suppressing the other dimensions. India, on the other hand, has pursued parallel development of all 3 dimensions – social, political, economic. This is far more challenging but will be more robust in the long run.

जबकि चीन और कुछ अन्य देशों ने तीव्र गति और निर्णायक रूप से विकास किया, वहीं उन्होंने अन्य आयामों को दबाते हुए एक बार में एक ही आयाम पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया | दूसरी ओर, भारत ने सभी 3 आयामों – सामाजिक, राजनीतिक, आर्थिक में समानांतर विकास की नीति अपनाई है | यह कहीं अधिक चुनौतीपूर्ण है परन्तु लंबे समय में अधिक सशक्त होगा |
