TED Talk: 10 things you didn’t know about orgasm

This is certainly one of the most hilarious talk I have heard on TED.  It is by Mary Roach, the author of Bonk: The Curious Coupling of Science and Sex

. She shares a lot of interesting information on the myths and research done on Orgasm in both women and men.  The studies and works range from bizarre to absolutely hilarious.   Like one woman who got orgasms while brushing her teeth and another one who could think herself to orgasm and could do it anywhere.  Also, if a certain nerve is kept alive then even a brain-dead cadaver (whose organs are kept alive for transplant) can have an orgasm triggered in him/her! This exploration of our sexuality is a far cry from what our ancestors wanted us to share. From the female orgasm and sexuality to the history of orgasm denial in men, talks such as these are showing that the world is changing.

This material is for adults.
