Today let us discuss about COVID-19 and how it is impacting.

corona virus reality check

As India’s cases near 60,000 mark, everyone is worried in India. And many have started talking about doomsday scenario. And of course, about the statistics by the government not being correct. Look at these numbers of Deaths/ 1 Million of population. India is nowhere near the rest of the countries. So, if people are taking the other countries as the benchmark, they have to realize the miracle that the Modi government has pulled off. For those who think the death numbers are wrong - they need to follow their logic through. It takes 500 kg to cremate a body. So if India was off by a few thousands, then we are talking of several tons of wood that would be needed. As long as you do not find the extra bodies on the roads. So, whatever number you propose, back it up with the wood that would have been used to cremate them! You see, you cannot simply shoot out nonsensical theories without taking that theory to its logical end.

palghar lynching

Palghar lynching was one of the worst things anyone could have witnessed even on a video file. We all did. Shameful thing is that it was all orchestrated where politicians, police and many Breaking India forces collaborated. The sheer dastardly nature of the whole episode is disturbing. Now, we come to know how the bodies of the two Sadhus and their driver lie desecrated.

fate, destiny and self effort

India was the only land, where we were told by our Sages that you and you alone are responsible for whatever happens to you. No God is responsible for that. That is why we were told that what happened in our lives was “our karma”. There is no interventionist God. It is important to read what Lord Ram’s Guru - Sage Vasistha - taught him about fate, destiny and self effort.

9 Truths on Fate and Destiny that Lord Ram's Guru Taught Him - Drishtikone

Some interesting nuggets from Vasishtha’s Yoga: - IN this world whatever is gained.. is gained only by self effort; where failure is encountered it is seen there has been slackness in the effort.

How could we have forgotten these important lessons and slipped into a mindset, where we were waiting for miracles from God? A God, whose existence has not been confirmed by any space probe or telescope scanning the Universe. Because the Dharmic understanding of God was very different. That is why the words we chose were also done carefully. Go through this basic but important differentiation.
