No US State Department, White House or India Foreign Ministry Official Records show Trump-Modi discussion on Kashmir!

This is as bizarre as it gets.  So remember how Donald Trump had declared in a press conference with Pak PM Imran Khan that Indian PM Narendra Modi had asked him to mediate in Kashmir?  The only time that Prime Minister Narendra Modi met US President Donald Trump recently was during the G-20 summit in Osaka last month.

Well now it turns out that Trump was lying.  Because neither the White House, nor the US State Department in their official records for the Osaka meeting have anything that points to it.  Guess what?  Even the Indian Ministry of External Affairs has checked and found no record of such a discussion.  In fact, there was not even an off-the-cuff remark or talk on Kashmir that could have potentially created a misunderstanding!

So where did Trump get that idea?

It seems that Imran Khan was tutoring him with some of his own delusional nonsense, which Trump used to make stuff up.

That should teach a few lessons to Trump.  One, that he is not the only or the greatest liar in the world.  Pakistanis can beat him, as good as he is, hands down.  And more!  Two, never ever… EVER.. take Pakistanis on face value and their word.  Ever.

Now, everyone – from US State Department to his own White House staff and records have figuratively thrown Trump under the geopolitical embarrassment bus.  And Pakistanis are nowhere to be found.  They, on the other hand, are rejoicing the new found “strategic victory” back at home, knowing fully well that it actually means nothing!
