Pakistan’s Washington DC office has hired a lobbying firm in US and its embassy there signed the contract with Tom Reynolds, a former Republican congressman, who was representing the firm. The Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi was there as well.
This comes at a time when Imran Khan will be visiting US along with Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa, ISI Director General Lt-Gen Faiz Hameed, Adviser on Commerce Abdul Razzak Dawood and Special Assistant on Overseas Pakistanis Zulfi Bukhari.
The obvious question however, is how does one lobby for a stinking turd? How do you sell a country which is the fountainhead of terror and bankrupt?
Would be interesting to watch as Reynolds and others at the firm twist themselves into knots to speak positive about Pakistan.
