Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Bahrain’s capital, Manama, Saturday, August 24, on the last leg of his three-nation trip. Modi met the King of Bahrain, Shaikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, in Manama. In a joint statement later, Modi said that India was looking forward to becoming a $5 trillion economy and he would like Bahrain to be a part of it. The leaders discussed space ties and other issues of mutual interest in continuation with Modi’s meeting with his Bahraini counterpart, Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, in the capital city.
