Operation Sindoor Chronicle #2 - May 10th, 2025
We have changed the name of the chronicles - Operation Sindoor, as it should have been. On the third day and intervening night, major escalation occurred. We are documenting it.

We start with the last briefing from the Indian government.

Let's start with some unconfirmed reports that may be true.

Unverified battlefield updates — Operation Sindoor: Developing Situation

From today, we will try to carry some chatter on the social media - unverified reports. We will confirm when we have further information.

Pakistani Military Launches Coordinated Multi-City Attack on India

Reports indicate that Pakistan has initiated strikes on over 12 Indian cities, including New Delhi, Jammu, Amritsar, Pathankot, and Jalandhar, as part of a military operation referred to as “Operation Bunyan-ul-Marsoos.” These coordinated attacks are yet to be officially confirmed but mark a dramatic escalation in the conflict.

Dogfights in the Skies: Aerial Combat Over Jodhpur and Jammu

Intense air battles between Indian and Pakistani fighter jets have been reported over Jodhpur and Jammu. Eyewitnesses observed high-speed maneuvers and sonic booms, with the Indian Air Force on full combat alert. Further engagements are expected as airspace remains highly contested.

Pakistani Fighter Jets Breach LoC

Unconfirmed sources suggest Pakistani jets have crossed the Line of Control, reportedly heading toward critical Indian military bases.
Full-scale air-to-air combat may be underway.

Explosion Reported in Ludhiana

Residents in Ludhiana, Punjab, reported hearing a massive explosion. The cause is currently unknown, and official confirmation is awaited.

Kahuta Nuclear Facility Under Attack?

One of the most significant yet unverified claims is that Pakistan’s Kahuta nuclear facility is under attack. If confirmed, this would mark a historic strike on a high-value strategic target.

Top Pakistani General Killed in Sialkot Strike

According to Pakistani accounts circulating online, General Nasir Khan Jan, a senior Pakistani Army officer, has been killed in an Indian precision strike on Sialkot. No official statement from Islamabad yet, but the implications are massive.

These updates are credible but unconfirmed and are being monitored closely. Ground situation is fluid, and further validation is awaited.

Stay alert. This conflict is escalating with speed and depth unseen in decades.

An Aside.. on Pahalgam

In the months leading up to the April 22, 2025, terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, which resulted in 26 fatalities, U.S.-based Maxar Technologies experienced a notable surge in orders for high-resolution satellite images of the region. Between February 2 and 22, 2025, at least 12 such orders were placed—double the typical volume. This spike followed Maxar's June 2024 partnership with Pakistan-based geospatial firm Business Systems International (BSI), whose founder, Obaidullah Syed, had been convicted in the U.S. for illegally exporting sensitive equipment to Pakistan's Atomic Energy Commission.

The article says - while the specific clients behind these image requests remain unidentified, the timing and BSI's involvement have raised concerns among defense analysts and Indian officials. Maxar's platform also recorded image orders for other sensitive Indian regions, including Pulwama, Anantnag, Poonch, Rajouri, and Baramulla. Each image, starting at approximately ₹3 lakh, varies in cost based on resolution.

The important thing is that commercially available high-resolution satellite imagery can be exploited by non-state actors for surveillance and planning purposes.

The low-down on the happenings

The war is no longer at the gates.

It is in the skies, across the borders, and deep within both nations' strategic zones. And India is responding swiftly and surgically.

After India’s audacious joint operation on the night of May 7—which destroyed nine terror launchpads of Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba, and Hizbul Mujahideen inside Pakistan — Islamabad doubled down with attacks on Indian cities, towns and places of worship specifically.

On May 9, Pakistan unleashed over 50 payload-carrying drones and a barrage of missiles, targeting Indian military and civilian installations in Jammu, Pathankot, and Udhampur.

But India was ready. Our multi-layered air defence—L-70s, Schilkas, Zu-23s, and counter-UAS systems—intercepted nearly all incoming threats with clinical precision.

Blackouts blanketed strategic zones—Jammu, Bikaner, Jalandhar, Akhnoor, Amritsar, Samba, Kishtwar—while sirens wailed in Punjab and Rajasthan. Explosions rocked Amritsar in the early hours.

Meanwhile, unconfirmed reports pointed to multiple blasts in Pakistan’s Lahore and Rawalpindi, and significantly, near the Kartarpur Corridor in Gurdaspur, a holy passage for Sikh pilgrims to Kartarpur Sahib. The message was sinister. The provocation was deliberate.

Pakistan’s drone attacks extended to Naushera, Lakhanpur in Kathua, and for the third day straight, Gujarat’s Kutch district. India responded with fury:

  • 11 drones downed near the Kutch border
  • 8 destroyed over Srinagar, Awantipora, and Baramulla

As Pakistan’s artillery rained on Akhnoor’s civilian areas, India fortified its defence lines. Union Home Minister Amit Shah convened a high-level review with BSF chiefs over escalating attacks on Satwari, RS Pura, Samba, Arnia, and Jaisalmer.

India Today confirmed the scale of war readiness:

  • Civil flight operations at 32 airports across North and West India stand suspended from May 9 to May 14
  • But across the border, Pakistan has shockingly kept its airspace open.
Civilian aircraft continue taking off from Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad, being shamelessly used as human shields. A violation of war ethics. A provocation masked in cowardice.

Indian Express reports: “From Baramulla to Barmer, India has blocked a second wave of drone attacks.”

India has attacked three air bases in Pakistan.

1. Mureed Air Base
2. Noor Khan Air Base
3. Shorkot Air Base

Here are the details.

Attack on Noor Khan airbase

A Pakistan Air Force (PAF) C-130 Hercules transport aircraft was destroyed in a precision strike at Nur Khan Airbase. The incident occurred amid escalating tensions in the region. The C-130, a critical asset in PAF's transport fleet, was reportedly targeted during a strategic operation. Details regarding casualties or the extent of damage to surrounding infrastructure have not been officially confirmed. The loss of this aircraft marks a significant blow to PAF's operational capabilities.

Pakistan Air Force Base Nur Khan is an active airbase in Chaklala, Rawalpindi, Punjab province, Pakistan.

Here is a report from CNN News 18 on multiple blasts in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Narwal, and Noor Khan Air Base.

Intelligence reports indicate that a Pakistan Air Force Il-78 MRTT—returning from Istanbul to Nur Khan Airbase—has been diverted or is stranded over Iranian airspace.

Sources suggest this tanker was ferrying a fresh consignment of Turkish-made combat drones earmarked for strikes against India.

Pakistani journalist Raza Rumi now openly admits — this is no longer a skirmish, but an all-out war.

Also check this on Nur Khan airbase.

The other major attack was on Rafiki airbase.

Attack on Rafiki Airbase

This is the Rafiki Airbase in Shorkot, which was also attacked. This base is 350km away from Islamabad. It is the JF-17 base for the Pakistan Air Force.

PAF Base Rafiqui, formerly known as PAF Base, is a central Pakistan Air Force installation located near Shorkot in the Jhang District of Punjab province.

The base lies approximately 337 km south of Islamabad and is one of the largest air bases in the country. It features a 10,000-foot runway and a parallel taxiway suitable for emergency landings and aircraft recovery.

It serves as a key operational hub for the Pakistan Air Force's JF-17 Thunder fighter jets, central to the PAF’s modern combat capabilities.

Sushant Sareen, Senior Fellow, ORF - one of the most prestigious Indian think-tanks lays it out correctly.

The misinformation from the Pakistanis is staggering.

Pakistan is using Civilian Flights as Shields

Pakistan has deliberately kept its airspace open for civilian flights.

A sudden surge of departures from Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore raises serious concerns, as Islamabad shamelessly uses civilian aircraft as human shields amidst an active conflict.

It is the wont of Pakistan to do such a thing.

Meanwhile, the Balochis are declaring freedom from Pakistan.

At the end of this, there may not be any Pakistan left!

Pakistan has Madrasa Kids as "Second Line of Defense"

Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has made a shocking admission—calling madrassa students the nation’s “second line of defence.” This exposes a chilling reality about Pakistan while confirming its mojo as a terror state: a state policy that turns children into cannon fodder, grooming them into tomorrow’s terrorists.

As far as students of madrassas are concerned, there is no doubt, they are our second line of defence, by Allah's grace, the youth who are ready to be used for the ongoing battle – Pakistan Defence Minister Khwaja Asif.

Meanwhile, DG ISPR falsely claims: “India fired six ballistic missiles into Punjab to target Sikhs.”

In a desperate attempt to stoke communal tensions, Pakistan is peddling blatant lies to incite Sikhs against the Indian state, conveniently ignoring the fact that India’s Air Chief Marshal himself is a proud Sikh.

One should remember that just 5 years back, the daughter of the priest from Nankana Sahib — the sacred birthplace of Guru Nanak — was abducted and forcibly converted to Islam. As outrage grew, the Pakistani authorities staged a token arrest of the accused.

In retaliation, the man’s brother led a violent mob that hurled stones and issued chilling threats, vowing to demolish Guru Nanak’s birthplace, build a mosque over it, and rename the town Ghulam-e-Mustafa.

IMF Rewards Pakistan

Interestingly, the IMF rewarded Pakistan with a $2.3 billion bailout package.

One wonders in which alternative universe these global institutions live.

Why are they rewarding a terrorist rogue regime for attacking Indians on April 22, which started the whole conflict? What do they think will be done with this package?

Does the idea of more weapons to attack India and arm the jihadis ring a bell?!

Source: Hindustan Times

Afghanistan's leader in exile Mariam Solaimankhil puts it correctly.

Sushant Sareen has piut this in the context of the calls for de-escalation coming from some of the capitals! Some nerve!

Finally..this is War!

Let’s get one thing straight—this is asymmetric information warfare.

You must watch my Operation Sindoor video from yesterday, where I said it clearly:“No official war declaration, yet every front is active. India is waging war without declaring one. And winning it—without escalation.”

That wasn’t a stray comment. There’s a method to this silence.

Today, Pakistan is entirely responsible for de-escalation. India has maintained the upper hand operationally, diplomatically, and psychologically.

Watch the Indian Ambassador’s CNN interview. Despite repeated prodding, he refuses to call this a war.

0:00
/0:40

Why? Because the moment the term "war" is uttered, the vultures in global media descend. The same playbook they used against Israel will be opened against India. And in that chaos, strategic objectives get lost.

But make no mistake—the objective this time is not deterrence. It’s neutralizing.

Not just of terror camps, but of a rogue state’s infrastructure and ideological war machine.

And you’re about to see tectonic cracks in Pakistan. Balochistan and Sindh—watch those spaces.

India’s speed, reach, and clarity of action are unprecedented. This isn’t 1965 or 1999. This is deep warfare that reached the whole of Punjab and even Peshawar.

And the strikes? Highly selective. Targeted. Focused. Because the real threat isn’t a Muslim nation — it’s a Sunni Punjabi war machine. And that’s what India is dismantling.

This war won’t be declared. It won’t be televised. But it will be fought—and won—in silence, under radar, and with finality.

Lastly, don’t fall for the “fact-check” trap. That’s a domain for the Zubairs of the world—the useful idiots of enemy psy-ops. If India Today, Economic Times, and Hindustan Times are putting out these updates, rest assured—it’s not without the government’s nod.

This is a war of shadows. And India is hunting in the dark—with precision.
